I don't know if anyone here has heard of Story of the Year but if you haven't , you need to. I first heard them when they went on tour with The Used. I had just come to see the used but when I saw Story of the Year, they just blew me away. They have so much energy and just put on a crazy show. Right now they are on the Warped Tour. They have done so well that they got moved up to the Volcom stage. Check out some of their songs and one of their videos here http://www.hyfntrak.com/storyoftheyear/frickenehOR just click on my sig. Their debut album Page Avenue comes out September 16th. You will not be disapointed.
I have heard of the band name but not their music. I just went to their site and checked out some of their songs and I really like them. *adds Story of the Year to the numerous list of cds I need to own*
YAY ! I'm glad to hear that someone else appreciates their music. Ooh Mest. My friend met them at Warped.
I live in St. Louis, their hometown. I've heard them long before you have And I've driven down Page Avenue many times before, the street their CD is named after And a bit of useless info, the name of the band before they made it big and were only known by St. Louisans was "Big Blue Monkey"
Well their official site is www.storyoftheyear.net (join the messageboard) but there aren't lyrics there. You can go here to get lyrics though http://www.storyoftheyear.8m.com.
Yeah, I'm going to check them out since I'll be seeing them. +.- Edit: Ok, I've listened to the player and I have to say I like "Anthem of our Dying Day" the most. They remind me of The Used all the way at the end where he's screaming.
I listened to one of their songs last night and I have to say: I'm impressed. I'll have to listen to their entire album sometime so I know what more to expect. So far it sounds really awesome.
I have their album. I'm going to listen to it later. Someone said that "Sidewalks" is like a slower Yellowcard song. I can see why you'd suggest it. By the way, sup... I downloaded Yellowcard's album last night. I shall listen to that as well.
I dont think Sidewalks is like Yellowcard, but okay. And if you like Yellowcard's stuff, lemme know, maybe ill hook you up with a few unreleased tracks.
