I knew Phoenix would sing! Thats awesome, I predicted that :p

They could have left the bassline out couldnt they? Its not very prominent is it?

It's fairly prominent, but if Mike plays piano the whole time, the left hand of the piano part doubles the bassline so it wouldn't be noticeable.

Mike did play the keyboard all of that song. I don't know if Hahn played the bass.. It was hard to see him even though I was five meters from the scene.

And Mike played the acoustic guitar plus keyboard in Little Things (he sat down like in What I've Done).

Chester did the highest monkeyjump I've ever seen. It was from the top of stage, pass the drums and dj and down on the bottom of the stage.

Edit: and he might switched the bass out in the last chorus because I remember thinking like "WTF" at the end of Leave Out The Rest when I first saw he played the guitar.

But Sweedens show is tonight. It's probably the same so someone bring some good recording device so the rest of the guys can hear the two new songs.

Edit 2: 32 seconds of Little Things from yesterday here!

I really really really really really really WANT to hear Leave out all the rest LIVE... it must have been so awesome. So There are 3 vocalist now, well kind of. 1. Chester - Front man 2. Mike, Second Vocalist. 3. Phoenix - Back up vocalist. Sounds good to me

wait just to clear this up he sang the part of

"Forgeting the hurt inside you've learned to hide too well,
Pretending someone else can come and save me from myself?"

or the "I can't be who you are"? this is unclear to me

No, sounds like Phoenix just did backing vocals in "Little Things", not "Leave Out All The Rest"

At the end of "The Little Things Give You Away" there's a three part harmony:
Chester singing "All you've ever wanted/Was someone to truly look up to you"
Mike (probably) singing the backround vocal effects, the "Ahhhs"
Phoenix singing/chanting "Little things give you away"

Edit: Sorry Omar! Back to the news...

    -edit-

Dunno whether this was posted or not....

Posted by Brad himself on the LPU News Page:

I can only hope to convey the gratitude we feel. The dedication of our entire fanbase has given us the confidence to take risks and continually challenge ourselves as musicians throughout our career.

Minutes to Midnight was just that: a huge risk. In making this album, we strived as a band to rediscover the reasons for starting up in the first place: experimentation, imagination, and fun. We went on an incredible journey and wound up in an incredibly exciting place.

Thank you all for your tremendous support. I hope that you connect with this album as deeply as we do.

Yeah, so I was looking around the other day and I heard about an alternate australian what i've done video. I figured it was a really good fan made video, but then I found this- http://minutestomidnight.com.au/ So other than the fact that lp isnt actually in the video, it seems pretty legit. Anyway, maybe everybody already knows this, but I haven't seen it in the news yet, so there ya go. ^_^

37 % of totals are in according to hits daily double and LP has sold rougly 50 k albums in its second week at that point. Maroon 5 will definantly get the #1 spot with LP coming in #2. Maroon 5 is reported to sell 400 k albums, so LP sold under that in its second week. hopefully in the 250 k range *crosses fingers

i'm not an expert at this and i'm just guessing from what i see from that site and reports i've heard on maroon 5's album sales, i could be way off.
