Fresh off the unveil of the recently announced LPN (Linkin Park Network), the folks at linkinpark.com are now offering you a special opportunity never before available to visitors of the band's official website. By going to the official site and registering as a member of LPN (don't worry it's free!) you now have the opportunity to create your own linkinpark.com website URL, with the option of customizing it to include special tag lines, site pictures, special headers and more. Whether you plan to use it as a fansite, or use it as a personal blog it is completely up to you and we urge you all to take a look by going to Linkin Park's official site and having a look as soon as you can! Thanks to LP.com staff for the update!
Da fuck? Since when does the official LP site needs google ads? Oh, oooooooooof course. When you click to "Remove Ads", it redirects to lpunderground.com. So you need to be a LPU member to not view ads (basically, you need to pay Warner to not view ads you shouldnt see in the first place). Very clever, those greedy Warner bastards are. Otherwise, cool feature.
oh, can we register now? EDIT: okay, i've registered but i can't post on the LPMB ... my new account's probably just being modded or something ... oh, and what can i actually do with my site?
I'm probably the only person that feels this way, but this is a really lame idea... It's basically MySpace on LP.com.
actually, you can do a hell of a lot more with a mySpace profile. but having an anything.linkinpark.com address is ... really cool!
Too bad i cant join >.< It says i already used my email as a clique id and it says that my email couldnt be found on the site or something. How do i contact support? But it seems like a cool idea, i checked out the bands sites lol.
This is kinda stupid, I mean what's the whole point? All it is to me is a bunch of kids trying to 1-up each other on how much they know about a band called Linkin Park.
why would anyone want to do this? It's like linkin park myspace. Except that's really unnecessary since linkin park is on myspace.
Seriously.. why are they doing this.. its like boring.. i mean its kool thats LP and what not but thats why we already have myspace >.<
Wow, some people actually DO agree with me. I think it's cool that LP has a place for it's fans to come and get creative, but this just seems so lame and it seems they're just trying to get more people on their site. That = Money
