Now that The White Stripes new album is circulating around the internet, what is everyone's opinion on it? Personally, I think it's their best album yet and blows away Get Behind Me Satan, all though I loved that album as well. Jack's guitar playing is spot on and everything just fits so well. My favorite track right now is definitely Conquest.

i'm yet to find the album but the song is interesting. I read somewhere there was going to be more guitar solos but that blew me away.
The album's excellent, I listened to it again today (3x already) and my favourite song is Icky Thump, but I really like the rest too.
Right now I'd say Era Vulgaris is slightly better. Having said that, that's a great performance by Jack, and Meg... I appreciate her keeping time for him, haha.
Personally? I think it's absolute garbage. Then again I'm not a big White Stripes fan, but they have their moments... just not on this album.
i might be able to get into it after awhile, but I'm really not into the retro sound of the White Stripes, so it's not high on my wish list right now.
I just bought the album today... it's pretty sweet. I wasn't really into them until I heard Icky Thump... then I bought the album, and listened to it. I like it alot. I think my favorite songs are Icky Thump, You Don't know what Love Is, Prickley Thorn, and Effect and Cause. I'm not gonna say this is their best album, because I haven't really heard their other stuff, but, it's the best I've heard from them....
