In a recent update, the government has revealed that they found a body of a US Soldier but cannot confirm its identify at the moment.

I really hope that he comes home safe. Him and I were never the best of friends (we didn't hang out after school) but him and I took a lot of the same classes, talked all the time in school, and shared a lot of the same interests. Byron is a very good person and for something like this to happen to someone so young is just unbelievable. I never agreed with the war in the first place but this just puts the icing on the cake. :-(

The body that washed up in the Euphrates River in Iraq has been identified as Pfc. Joseph Anzack. I offer my condolences to his family and friends but at the same time, am relieved to get confirmation that it wasn't Byron. The troops in Iraq are still in full force, completely determined to locate the other two soldiers that were captured and return them safely home.

Thank you all for you condolences and words of compassion. I am really hoping for the best.

This war in Iraq was uncalled for and is out of control. These reasons such as this case should be reason enough. We're fighting for a failed cause in my opinion. We had no business going in Iraq in the first place... it was (and still is) Bin Laden who we were after in 2001-2002. I think the government had their own personal reasons for invading Iraq and just felt that 9/11/01 was the perfect under cover reason for the invasion. There was an assassination attempt on the former President Bush which was the current President's main reason for the invasion. -- Remember, they wouldn't tell anybody their selfish ways so it's up to us to bring them to light.

Hope everything turns out on the positive side!!
