What is your favorite Linkin Park song that they've performed live? Mine is "Runaway", it sounds so good live
Hmm.. I'm going to have to say Numb for right now. Their performance of Numb on Jimmy Kimmel was amazing. Only flaw was when Chester's voice cracked twice, but even with that happening it was still awesome.
The live version of High Voltage from the London Docklands from the LPU 2.0 cd is amazing. The guitar along with the echoing arena makes it awesome. That's my favorite performance ever. One Step Closer form the VMA01's was awesome too. When the X-Ecutioners scratched and built up this big climax to Chester's "SHUT UP WHEN I'M TALKING TO YOU!", it sent shivers down my spine. A Place For My Head from $2 Bill was chill-inducing too for Chester's "You try to take the best of me, go away!!". Then there's "Numb" and "Faint" from Kimmel, and "Pushing Me Away" at the House of Blues....*sigh*...there's too many.
"One Step Closer" hands down. My favourite performance of it was at the London Docklands Arena when the band was joined by Wes Scantlin of Puddle Of Mudd and Marky Chavez of Adema. In fact, I think that's their best performance of that song ever, lol.
Oh, you want specifics? High Voltage live at the Rock AM Ring (06-03-01). Points of Authority live at the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas (12-17-00). By Myself live at The Palace, Hollywood, Ca (10-31-00). A Place For My Head live at The Warfield, San Francisco, CA (03-23-03).
I have no specifics. Papercut, Faint, and Numb. Like Bryan said, the Jimmy Kimmel performance was awesome.
The live acoustic Pushing Me Away is amazing, i gotta dig through my old cd's and find it again....yes they played PMA acoustic.
