I was over at my cousin's house for a few hours today and we just happend to turn on TRL and they gave some news about the VMA's on it. It just said that the performers were going to be Beyonce, Metallica, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, Good Charlotte, Coldplay & Christina Aguilera. (I know everyone knows this by now, nothing new, right?) There was NO mention of Linkin Park. You would think if they were going to perform, they would have mentioned them.

At MTV.com it’s too, still nothing about LP performing. But, why it’s confirmed by MTV.de?

I’m sure (I hope – better) they add them later too. They are very slow. MTV Europe announced Beyonce, Metallica (and LP – my news from august 13th) week ago and MTV confirmed it only now...

^^ If LP performs I'm actually going to watch it. So if they don't perform, MTV's getting one less viewer :p

Haha! That would be the day. If that happens, I hope they do an LP song, not a Metallica song. :p

Are you sure that LP is performing at the VMA's becouse on Much Music one of the VJ's listed all the bands playing at the event and they didnt say Linkin Park :( and Linkin Park is pretty big so I guess they would list there name but there didnt :(

I just saw on MTV it was a TV show called "Things you didn't know about the VMA's" and it said the only people performing were Snoop Dog, I think Ashanti, and Beyonce Knowles . But I don't get it, they didn't say Linkin Park performing....

Unless LP is a surprise performer, LP will not play at the VMA's

i don't think they're performing. if they were, MTV would let it be known. Linkin Park is the biggest rock act out there right now, they'd use that to get more viewers. it's still not on the website under performers, when they HAVE updated it to add Metallica. i just don't think its going to happen

    Thanks, Mr President of MTV

I mean, if MTVEurope says 8 bands/artists were performing, and 2 of 3 unconfirmed bands at that time were confirmed a day later, why not Linkin Park. I'm fed up with saying that MTV makes last minute additions all the time, just like in the 2001 VMA's with LP.

The proof is on MTV.de, one of the official MTV websites based in Germany.

uuuh I dunno now lol. Now i'm just confused, everybody has alot of diffeent opinions but now I think i'm just based on them maybe being a last minute suprise performance. No LP performance or not at least they'll be getting an award so it's all good I guess :mike:
