Shadow of the Day Video Premiere

the video looks great, just the ending is "????"

 

I honestly don't know how to react to this video. no band, so it's definitely something new to what I'm used to. In a "movie" perspective, B-; but as far as a "music video", I think i'd give it a D. It may just need more time to grow on me.

 

It doesn't want to start streaming the video, it wont play! Guess I'll have to wait for few days to see it....

I cant find it, i mean i see the advertisement on the main page but it just tkes me to a list o LP videos and SOTD isnt there

 

I didn't expect something like this. Is not bad, but I'll have to watch it more times to give a better opinion.

Sweet video. You get a lot of the background noise, which was obviously deliberate, but the video is cool.

 

The ending was terrible but to be honest so was the start (why like a minute of Chester semi-nude and shaving?).

The video isn't bad but there's no real plot to it, there's just a riot in the street for some reason and Chester's walking past it. I think the video would probably have been better without the sound effects aswell. It's also waaaay too much like From The Inside.

I think LP need to recruit a new director for their videos because will all due respect to Mr. Hahn, all three videos off of MTM have been sub-standard. I'd be amazingly surprised if this even gets nominated for a video award.

Dull video, mostly dull song.

 

I actually like it. It is kinds similar to FTI, though. Certainly better than BIO, but not their best. Maybe it's like the song and will get better on repeated viewings like Derek said.

 

I knew Chester would go solo in this vid.

And I don't know what some of you were expecting for this vid. It's much more mature than their past efforts. We can't always have flying whales, CG robots, and random objects coming to life. While I personally prefer the FTI vid over this one TECHNICALLY in execution, I do appreciate the subtle and serious subject matter in SOTD. Yes, the plot's connection with the song is a bit confusing, but hey, ambiguity is better than literalness (see Numb), right?

 

I really like this video But the sound effects really needs to be removed, they take away all the attention from the song. It's only because I know what he's singing that I can make any sense of the words behind the sound effects. But it's definitely a nice video

 

Hopefully this video will be phenomenol.

 

This video is a in my opinion one of their best.

This video is really good but I dont see how it suits the song to be honest.
Chester really likes his own ass though, why else would he wear boxers like that and have 30 seconds of a music video of him in them?
