7-0? what went on there? Arsenal look like they are playing 'sexy' football and i cant see anyone putting a stop to that.. Theo said something i quite liked, something along the lines of 'as long as we keep a clean sheet (or near to it) it doesnt really matter about much else, 'cos we'll always score goals' Arsenals confidence levels are running high at the moment, and i dont blame them. their fitness and skills are second to none imo. 4-2 to Manchester was a good result too. the Rooney, Tevez, and Ronaldo partnership is looking really good. cant wait to see the squad at full strength either. Carrick, and Scholes are bound to make more of an impact
I'm looking forward to Bolton, although it would suck if Megson became their manager and he beat us again.
I think the next two premiership games could really set the tone for our season. If we can come away with a point from each game it will be good enough because we'll still be at the top with a game in hand. The dream prospect would be if we won both and went 5 points clear at the top with a game in hand. If that happens then we will have a massive chance at winning the title. We're playing fantasicly well and it's an absolute pleasure to watch because I prioritise Arsenal before England and Scotland and would much rather see my local team do well in all competitions. Despite Theo playing increadibly well last night, I don't think he should be recalled to the England squad just yet. People have to remember that it was one performance and one performance should never define somone's future.
Really looking forward to Arse/United. Going to be a cracking game with both teams in sensational form. Just hope we have Hargreaves and Scholes back for that game. Otherwise Anderson's going to have to come in and strut his stuff. I've no worries about him coming in though, he's looked fantastic. Gonna be tough at Highbury. Wouldn't dare predict a score. Hope we batter you though.
and plus he wasnt exactly playing against one of the strongest defences in the UEFA CL. It would be interesting to see how he would do against some strong BPL defences like Man U or Chelsea...
eh no one will ever be big enough to fill in at TH....besides, it looks like they're gonna do a Leeds
More teams should be more appreciative of the jobs their managers are doing. Man City should have with Pearce, Fulham should have with Coleman, Spurs should have with Jol.
yeah but results mean everything these days hardly any managers get the time to really get the hang of things the way Ferguson and Wenger did
Metz - Nancy 0 - 0 Bordeaux - Valenciennes 2 - 1 Lille - Strasbourg 0 - 3 Lorient - Nice 0 - 0 Monaco - Caen 0 - 0 Saint Etienne - Auxerre 0 - 0 Sochaux - Marseille 2 - 1
We should have won today. I'm actually not satisfied with my team today because we could so easily have won. Hit the bar twice, missed two open goals and dominated possession. But I guess a point isn't bad from Anfield. Apparently Ramos is gonna make a huge clearout at Spurs with Robinson, Defoe, Lee, Tianio and others set to be forced out in January.
