Are you kidding me? Why do actresses think they can make albums just because they're popular? Don't they know they're NEVER successful?
Actually she's been acting most of her life and I'd say she's been singing for that long too so it's not just because she's gotten famous (which she was to an extend before even starring on Heroes) by starring on Heroes, that she's starting with singing. I can't really blame her for trying, she's talented, she's popular and she's just 18. She'll fit perfectly in the mainstream pop music.

She's had a singing career since she was very young. I believe she's been on some kid movie soundtracks from a while back.
The difference here is that Jared Leto didn't let his acting speak for his music. He prefers to keep the two as separate as possible. Plus he had his band long before he ever started acting in films that mattered. On that note, I didn't know she's been singing for as long as she's been acting. It's still a little lame to use that as a means to finally get an album out, though. There are millions of people with way more talent who don't get to do shit because actresses and actors can do it just because they're actors and actresses.
He may keep them separate, but he turns all their music videos into fucking movies . Love the music though, and his voice fits right in.
