I just read this a few seconds ago. Terrible news. RIP Casey. Even though, I wasn't such a big fan of the band I listened to them and enjoyed what they did. Seems to me like they are all such great guys...
Yeah. We must have read it at the same time. I didn't even see your posts in Random Thoughts. That's horrible, though. I love the band. Hopefully they'll be able to continue to make the music they make without any setbacks, and hopefully they'll be able to get through this without too much adversity. I'm going to hate to hear all the anti-Hawthorne jokes after this...
Exactly, I wish them all the best and I hope they'll get through this. They were going to finish a new album for 2008, weren't they? Sometimes they were ridiculed because of the music they made and esspecially the attention they got for it but I think they really deserved all the success.
I think they were at least writing songs, yes. But you're right, they deserved all their success. Just because other people might not have liked them doesn't mean the people who did like them were any less important. Or something like that. I think you know what I meant though. Haha.
I went through a short Hawthorne Heights phase. Can't say that I really care for any of their lyrics, but I appreciate them. It's just a tragedy that anyone has to die, though. RIP.
I feel the same way about it. Its made even worse when its somebody who's still young (I imagine he's in his 20's?). This is just sad. R.I.P.
yeah, i read about this earlier today. see, this makes me think of those hate comments where people are all like "i wish they would die!" or some sh*t like that. they p*ss me off. most people who say that haven't listened to the band they're hating on at all, they don't know the people they're talking about, and so on. pretty much, they don't know what they're saying. hawthorne heights is an awesome band and it's really sad that they lost one of their members this way. R.I.P. casey.
I agree. It's one thing to claim you hate a band, but to wish death upon anyone at all is just ludicrous.
I've never listened to Hawthorne Heights, but damn. Weird how the death of a random guy can affect someone else. Rest in peace, man.
