And I know the lies you keep behind sealed lips and the promises you break Keeping the sanctity of our youth, for only in those days, did we feel safe In the days we remember, when our skin was soft and our minds still free And we could look beyond the lies, forgiving them, as we layed ourselves to sleep "I will love you, always"
