Chiodos added to US Headline Tour

The band Chiodos has been added to the lineup for Linkin Park's 2008 US Headline Tour. The following was posted on Chiodos' official website:

Linkin Park needs to stop sticking their dicks into my friends bands

Oh how these boys have grown up, it seems like yesterday I was seeing them at some bar in Rockville Centre when they were a shitty pop punk band. Those who are going to MSG, I will be working the merch booth and doing some tom foolery with my boys. COME CHILL!!!

 

You seem to know alot of bands.

 

Not really. It's only a few, and most I've met through association really and those I barely keep contact with, and I work a off the books job at Chiodos' label, Equal Vision.

It's mainly the Chiodos, Fear Before and Circa Survive boys.

 

Yeah I get what you mean. I know bands such as Enter Shikari, Gallows, Fightstar etc. through association. That's not to say they'd have a clue who I was if they saw me on the street or something lol.

 

Yeah I chill with Craig everytime he comes around these parts and when I was on Warped Tour being Circa Survive's tour manager this year, I became really good friends with Frosty (Derrick, Chiodos' drummer). Needless to say though, I am very blessed to have such amazing friends.

Those going to these shows, say hi to the Chiodos' boys. They always wonder around the lobby areas and welcome fans with open arms

Not much of a fan of them. They need to tour with people like Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, etc. a bit more. I like diversity, and loved most of the bands on PR (and am even a C&C fan) but in general their approach seems a bit odd.

 

hmmm its different but oh well.

 

Why are you guys finding it weird that Chiodos is on tour with Linkin Park?

 

What exactly is a Chiodos?

p.s. those guys on the Chiodos site are assholes. having been around for almost eight years, you'd think everyone would know how to spell "Linkin" by now.

 

They were named after The Chiodo Brothers, directors of Killer Klowns From Outer Space.

 

As much as I threw a little fit over Linkin Park not adding a Philly date, I'm sort of glad they didn't now. I'm hoping they can redeem themselves for Projekt Revolution 2008.

 

I take it you guys don't like Chiodos? Hahaha

 

Hmm..they don't seem that bad. Also, imo, I don't find anything wrong with a band like this touring with Linkin Park.

btw, the lead vocalist sounds like a chick wow.

 

...or believable, rather. We're assuming there will be a PR 08 lol.
