Spiderman 4: Confirmed

I don't know if anyone knew this, but I looked it up and saw no threads on it.




"There will be many more Spider-Man films to come," Marvel Studios' Producer Kevin Feige told MTV. "We already have stacks of ideas for the next one because of the wealth of stories in the comics. We could be making Spider-Man movies for the next 20 years, based on the 50 years of Spider-Man history we have."

In July, Tobey Maguire gave comic book fanboys a conniption when he told USA Today that he didn't believe a Spider-Man 4 was in the cards.

"We've done an amazing job at keeping things fresh," Maguire told USA Today. "But, it's hard to imagine continuously coming up with stories that deserve to be told. I'm not sure if there are more stories for this character that are interesting enough to be excited about doing more."

Feige can't guarantee that Maguire would return for a fourth film.

It would really suck though if Toby Maguire wouldn't return. I don't know how this movie will be, but it says on IMDB that it will be out in 2009.

 

Apparently some of the villains being talked about in this film are Carnage, Kraven The Hunter, The Hobgoblin, Electro and The Lizard.

The film will suck if the original cast don't come back though.

 

The film won't be complete if Bruce Campbell doesn't make another cameo.

 

The Spider-Man saga needs a shuffling of cast. I know a lot of people who just loathed the last film, mainly because of the plotline, Tobey Maguire and Kristen Dunst.

 

I think the last film would have been a hell of a lot better if they'd just cut 20 minutes from the middle part.

 

Yeah the emo dance and all that.

 

The last film would have been a lot better if the story was actually good. It made Spider-Man look ridiculous and for all the hype with the villains, there was no real conflict with them. It was misleading. Without Tobey McGuire on the next film, I don't see it getting any better to be honest.

Kristen Dunst didn't help

 

Seriously. When you fuck up Venom....YOU HAVE A PROBLEM!

 

Topher Grace was perfect for the role but he seriously needed to be in the film as Venom for more than 5 minutes.

 

I read this last year.. But I don't think a new film would work without toby.

 

Kind of old news. 4, 5 and 6 will be made. It's overkill imo, but who knows, they might pull it off really well. I just hope that Tobey and Kirsten are up for one more installment atleast.

 

It depends on whether Sam Raimi is still directing, if I'm not mistaken.

 

Well look at the James bond movies. They Have Used many different Bonds

But If they do make another Spider Man movie..for the love of all that is Marvel

I would like to see someone else play peter parker than toby. time for a change.

 

I saw the last one in French, so yea... Can't really judge it

 

For some odd reason, I just have a gut feeling that SM 4 will be awesome.

(please quote me when it releases, and it isn't. Afterwards, proceed to have a good 'point and laugh' moment directed at me )

 

Many 'diehard' fans of Spider-Man would just piss themselves out of hatred if Carnage ever made it to the big screen. However, I think that it would work out just fine since Venom had barely any exposure at all. Anyways we should be able to assume that SM4 will be delivering The Lizard. It's only common sense. Then again, The Lizard did appear in the video games and I've always come across with the notion that villains who appear in video games that were based on films usually don't make it to the big screen later on.

 

I just hope this movie isn't 3 hours of people crying.... I had to leave Spiderman 3.
