and discovery! :p I was really bored earlier, so I decided to clickclickclick around Myspace music, Itunes, and a few other places to see if I could find something new to listen to. Here's a few bands whose stuff I like:

Neverset (about to go on tour supporting Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin)

Vysion (they only have an EP on Itunes but the songs are really good and I'm excited for a full album)

Digital Summer (these guys are something... i dont know what, lol, but something!)

Deadsun (i found their newer cd as well as info that they are currently searching for a new bandmember ((because some guy quit? idk...)) )

Has anyone else found anything new lately thats worth mentioning? :D

I recently started getting into The New Frontiers. They're very Americana rock.. but I love it.

If there's one track I suggest everyone listen to, it's Mirrors. One of the most beautiful songs ever.

Ah yes, the random boredom downloading sprees I tend to have. Recently I've been getting into music like 65daysofstatic, Russian Circles, Mono, Movus, Silent Kit...just to name a few. Awesome stuff. ^_^

If you just recently started listening to that kind of music, I definately suggest listening to Isis - "Oceanic". Life-changing album.

Also Godspeed You! Black Emperor are pretty fine post-rock music.

On topic, bands I've discovered on MySpace are Nei (post-hardcore from ex-Breach members) and Verify (awesome Integrity-styled metal hardcore).

Eh, yeah, but it's against the rules for me to tell you. =P Try googling around and I'm sure you can find a link for downloading the album on a free file host. In the meantime, you can listen to the best song ever recorded here:

I got to see them live. Good stuff.

If you like these guys, try to find their video for 'Drift Away'.

And, I guess this is a given, but everyone should check out Artist Vs Poet.

    Ken Oak Band.

Imagine a duo, where one guy plays acoustic guitar, and the other guy plays cello and sings AT THE SAME TIME.

Very interesting musically. Fun to listen to.
