Yeah I think it's just part of the joke I found it on ETS...but it made me laugh so hard, I just had to post it here. I still laugh everytime I read "You should just kill yourself if you arent already nutting yourself over this shit" because I can imagine it being in an infomercial

 

the joke is from 4chan. there's a whole bunch of them. the best one they do is for a rocking chair

Hmm, Trent announced the supporting bands on nin.com. I've never heard of any of them, although at first I wondered if Deerhunter was The Dear Hunter (Casey Crescenzo's of TREOS's project). But that would be a pretty strange scenario. I guess it's a pretty popular band name.
