Tell me what you think No Roads Left is about. I want your input on it.

I think it's about a guy losing himself. Like he doesn't know where he's going in life and he keeps messing up in his life which makes it harder for him to live an easy life. It keeps putting him down every time he messes up. I quote "in my fear and flaws i let myself down again".

To be honest i love this song. Mike has an amazing voice.

Having no roads left but one, probably :p

Having left making a decision too long, until your choice is taken away, and you have only one option left.

It's about running into a dead end. Where's there no other ways to turn, are no other options to choose from. Which is in my opinon quite a scary situation to be in, and also it's a very bad situation to be in. So the meaning of the song basicly is having "No Roads Left But One"

    "In my fears and flaws
    I let myself down again
    All because I run
And the silence splits me open
I run, ti'l it puts me underground
    Until I have no breath
And no roads left but one.

I think it's about how if you keep running away from your problems, you're going to have to get to a point and make the decision, which would be the only road left.

    Hey you all out there,

It's been a long time..... well the only thing that i would like to say here, is the entire album is good one. However i feel that Linkin Park is now turning to Pop band...... It should not let go their image as a nu metal or heavy metal band........
    Believe Me.....
But in any which case..... Just simple love the Linkin Park Band

    Cheers Mate

What the original poster said. I think Mike has a lot of self-doubt listenning to this song and BIO.

The song CAN be interpreted religiously. He has lost faith in himself and his own abilities and he realizes that he must lean on a higher power.

"Why am I searching for perfection knowing it's something I won't find."
He can't find perfection in himself but can in God.

"I run until it puts me underground, until I have no breath."
Underground can be interpreted as you-know-where, and breath can be seen as the breath of life.

"And no roads left but ONE."
So goes the parable of the narrow and broad roads: "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." Matthew 7:13-14.
And most obvious but perhaps most powerful of any allusion in NRL, Jesus was always known as the ONE. The One road, and the One way.

I realize that there is the argument that nearly every song out there can somehow be interpreted religiously, but I truly believe that Mike was writing about his spiritual journey in NRL.

He was only raised as one, so of course there's the possibility he isn't religious anymore.
