So I picked up my copy of Indestructible yesterday at Best Buy (the CD/DVD edition, which is kick-ass) and I've listened to it many times through.

I love it. This album's definitely been worth the three-year wait. There's a whole lot of Disturbed here- there's at least a couple of songs that sound like they could have been on the previous three albums- i.e., Divide and Torn sound like stuff from the Sickness. Criminal sounds like it was from TTF (for good reason, lol.) Not too much sounds like it could be from Believe- maybe Enough or Deciever.
And there's some more original stuff- The Night and Haunted sound different than most stuff Disturbed's done. Haunted's probably the track that you'll step back and go "whoa" at.

Another really cool thing is the Indestructionals- the CD/DVD edition has a card which gives you access to a bonus site on the Disturbed webpage. You'll be able to get more indestructionals later on- along with the two currently on the DVD. One of them's the Perfect Insanity guitar solo- I forget the other.

Anyways, anyone else pick up Indestructible yesterday?
And if you did, how do you like it?

CD is sick. I'd have to say that "The Night" is my favorite track. I love the whole CD though.

I thought you were going to throw the CD in the blender or something, judging by the title.

I think that there are some tight tracks that could've been on "Believe" (the best Disturbed album and one of the best of all time in my opinion), but the rest of it is trash that all sounds the same. I just can't get into a lot of it.

I like the album a lot. Although i cringe when David sings 'Indestructible Master Of War' in the title track.

The best songs are the ones with solos. A lot of good riffs too. I dunno about favourite's yet, I've only listened three times to far.

For me its the type of CD you cant listen to all at once..it gets to boring, the songs are to much alike, that's just my opinion..when the songs are on shuffle with some other songs blended in, the albums pretty good.

Didn't get the chance to pick it up on release due to work, but since I have off today I'm gonna go to BestBuy and pick it up, along with 3 Doors Down and 10 Years' Division.

The album is alright, but not their best. Some songs really, really stick out, but to me it's typical Disturbed. If you like any of their other albums, chances are you'd like this one as well. 10 Years' Division is really solid though, as is Coheed and Cambria's Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume 2: No World for Tomorrow. I picked them up while I was getting Indestructible.

Can't ever go to BestBuy just to get ONE CD,

    Too true, that. XD

I personally think Division is one of my favourite CDs of the past couple of years. (I didn't get a lot of good CDs in 07, lol- BTBAM's "Colors" is the standout of last year)
But on the subject of Coheed, I personally though GAIBSV1 was better. V2 was a good album in its own right, but V1 has a better set of tracks on its side and a better closer IMO. The Final Cut is fucking AWESOME.

Once I get paid next week I'm going in to grab Nostradamus and Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace, from Judas Priest and the Offspring respectively. And the following week I'm getting the new Shinedown, The Sound of Madness.
Nobody goes to Best Buy to buy one CD, lol XD

I know Shinedown's CD comes out in July sometime, but when does Offspring come out? Those are the next ones I need to pick up as well.
