Linkin Park and their Projekt Revolution tour have teamed up with Major League Baseball and Champs Sports stores to offer concertgoers free music. Billboard reports that random concertgoers will be given a lanyard which can be exchanged at a local Champs Sports for a USB wristband containing "four unreleased Linkin Park MP3s" as well as five songs from other PR08 artists. Fans can also get the wristband by spending $50 or more at Champs. It's unknown if these "unreleased Linkin Park MP3s" are new material, or they could be live tracks, but we shall soon find out once Projekt Revolution starts July 16th. Stay tuned for more info. Hmmm, I'd like to get in on that or just wait until it gets put up on the Internet somewhere. *shrugs* I'm sure it's just live tracks from probably Milton Keynes or something. Nothing to get really all excited about, lol. I hope I'm wrong though.
Hahninator called into Rockline last night and Mike said hes 99.9% sure that they are not MTM B-Sides or anything of that nature.
I bet you they're tracks of Linkin Park reading children's books. In high quality mp3 format. Oh yeah.
Some high-quality MtM live tracks wouldn't be bad. Songs like Valentine's Day, Hands Held High, and whatever would be alright with me.
..and next children, Chester will read.. Jack and the Beanstalk i can see it now!! but seriously, i think these mp3s will be live tracks
Yep. And if they are live songs, it's safe to assume they're from the European Tour or from the secret show. The secret show would make sense if you did Wake 2.0, Given Up, Lying From You and Leave Out All The Rest. The other track is We Made It, but you wouldn't have to work anything out with Busta's management to get it released. It won't be from Milton Keynes because there's already a DSP for that show, and it's potentially going to be on a DVD.
Yeah, that's probably what will happen. Maybe they'll surprise everyone and release an early song, or a demo, or that song that they recorded in Asia after MTM came out. Or, they could just do what Louis said.
Yeah, it'll be too good to be true if they weren B-side. I think sometimes we get our hopes up a little to high lol. LPU8 is our one and only hope in getting MTM b-sides. but i have a horrible feeling it'll be 10 live tracks again.
i think i'll be a sure bet that this will be just more live tracks...thats just bad. i dont want more live material, i just get sick of it. need b-sides, now
