In a story that can be filed under "should've seen that coming", the "unreleased" LP material that was advertised in a promotion with Major League Baseball and Champs Sports has turned out to be live tracks. The USB drive contains live versions of four songs from Minutes To Midnight; "Given Up", "Leave Out All The Rest", "No More Sorrow", and "In Pieces". Material from other artists include Ashes Divide's "Enemies", Atreyu's "Blow", Busta Rhymes' "We Made It" featuring Linkin Park, The Bravery's "This Is Not The End", and "Beautiful" from 10 Years. Thanks to lpkornfan22 for the update.
Quoted for truth. Lame. And looking at my iTunes, I have live versions of all those songs (No More Sorrow on two different occasions), save In Pieces. Hopefully that will sound pretty good at least.
Yeah, are the others live or studio? If anybody knows. A good mixed live version of "We Made It" would be awesome at least.
All the other tracks are studio versions, and LP's live tracks are all from last year's Projekt Revolution. All the songs on the USB drive are censored, as well.
that makes it not even worth finding it online for free, i don't even want to waste my time with it >.< it's rather depressing if you ask me
Oh well, at least we still got a whole lotta other bands' albums to anticipate. For LP there's always LPU 9.0 to anticipate, even though it'll probably be live tracks again but from PR 08. WE NEED NEW STUFF FROM LP. Can't they hear that we're sick of live stuff? It was cool at first but now I'm getting pretty annoyed.
