I only like the song War All The Time by them, THAT is an amazing song though.

The Killers can be hard to get into as well

    I considered posting LP...but I wasn't sure.

I have trouble getting into certain songs off of MtM, but other than that, no problem

Slipknot was quite hard for me to get into. I managed to avoid them up until I found out about the Vermilion song, and it's video. It totally captivated me, and thus, I forced myself to listen to their other songs; got hooked, and bought all three albums at once. I remember plucking all of what I deemed 'good' from the albums and stuck with that in mind, even then, I had the biggest headache and felt like I was clinically insane at the back of my head after listening to all three albums one after another that day.

i'll be an elitist fuck here and say that LOG isn't metal... sorry.

I agree with Pink Floyd, it took me a few listens of Dark Side Of The Moon and it was just last night that i realised how awesome an album it is.

Granted, I'm no fan of the band, but how is Lamb of God not metal?

Well, that depends whether we're referring to the Lamb Of God that recorded Redneck, or the Lamb Of God that recorded br00tal grIm Norwegian blackened death metal and whose members Satan Christianslayer and Hellfrost Iscariot killed each other in a suicide pact in 1994.

I don't know hoe you guys found AFI difficult but I gotta say I hated the metalcore stuff like Atreyu and BFMV and heaps of metal bands, but know I love Atreyu,BFMV,A7X,Dream Theater and heaps of other stuff but DT was the most difficult along with Thrice. But Thrice had me hooked right after Digital Sea(love that song).
And I agree with heaps of people here that NIN is hard to get into. Hated the whole genre until I heard NIN for quite some time(brute force)

At first i thought most post-rock wasn't great (bands like Sigur Ros, Explosions In The Sky etc.) and the only post-rock band i could half listen to was Godspeed You! Black Emperor.

But now i listen to heeps of post-rock but i can't get into Godspeed You! Black Emperor.

    :p

I had trouble getting into Limp Bizkit's Results May Vary. Some of the songs used acoustic guitars adn bizkit didn't use acoustic guitars before. Some of the songs were too soft. Not as much hip hop like signifcant other. I heard the nu albums gonna go back to the older nu metal style, I mean the older limp bizkit style.
