Fuck it, I don't even like this movie. Infact, I despise it. But any new material from Rodrigo y Gabriela is good news.
Havent these songs been out for a while? well Marilyn's Cover has been Although I Personally like Panic At The Disco's cover of This is Halloween better, for some reason Panic do really good covers. But I WILL say for a scarier effect, Marilyn nailed the scaryness.
Amy Lee's song sounds nice. Flyleaf will fit. Sparklehorse will definately fit. Rodrigo y Gabriella will be very interesting, so I'm looking forward to this...
HOLY SHIT RISE AGAINST?! ...the Jonathan Davis one is...definitely melodically similar for sure. And the chorus is actually pretty rad. Maybe I am just so used to the monotonous club version that She Wants Revenge has done, that hearing the actual melody throws me off Ugh. The All-American Rejects one sucks, IMHO. It sounds like whining more than lamenting. Actually. After listening to all of the samples. The only ones I feel capture the characters the best are the Marilyn Manson, Rise Against, Jon Davis and Amy Lee ones. I'll still buy it though.
I think Amy Lee definitely hit Sallys Song, I would have to say that one is probably going to be my favorite. Korns cover is pretty good too.
I don't like the Flyleaf one, now that I've listened to each sample at least 80 times. I don't know. It doesn't sound excited, like Jack actually was.

Hearing Amy Lee sing reminds me how much it sucks that Evanescence had to fall apart in the way they did. Hopefully she'll be in a new band someday.
Personally, I think I would enjoy Evanescence just as much, if not more, if it were just Amy Lee and a piano with an occasional guitarist featured on songs.
