Tell me if this sounds right. Don't these songs sounds a lot alike?
In The End = Somewhere I Belong
Crawling = Easier To Run (if u can play em both at same time, exact same intro)
    One Step CLoser = Faint
    Papercut = Don't Stay
    Pushhing Me Away = Numb
Cure For An Itch = Session
By Myself = Hit The Floor
    Any others?

Okay, these kinds of threads are getting pretty pointless.

How the hell do you figure "Papercut" sounds like "Don't Stay" and "One Step Closer" sounds like "Faint"? What CD are you listening to?

I think Don't stay sounds more like One Step Closer, and By myself with figure.09.

I compared them and I was partly very shocked!
    On a scala from 1 to 10,where 1=different planets and 10=twins
C+ETA= 7 (the Intros are VERY similar)
ITE+SIB=6 (Intos and Outros are very similar)
    OSC+f=3 not very equal
    P+DS=8
    PMA+N=9 I just don't know,what to say
    CFTI+S=2 no little bit
    BM+HTF=1 even less than CFTI+S
    WY+LFY=6-7

    So,that's my point of you!

the only 2 i thought sound like each other are figure 09 and by myself because of the shouty rappy bit in both
but i cant say any of the others sound similar. BTH, NL, FTI dont sound anything like any HT tracks imo anyway :D

Pushing me Away and Easier to Run are a bit alike, I have a remix where these 2 are blended together and it sounds good.

But I agree we can't compare these 2 albums...

I don't even think that Hybrid Theory and Meteora sound alike, I don't know what everyone is talking about. Sure, a few of the songs have similar setups and meanings but the two albums are very different, IMO.

I think that many of the songs are similar in the lyrics and guitar riffs blah blah, but like frgt10_soldier said,

    Hybrid Theory=Hybrid Theory and Meteora=Meteora

Go get your own Avatar. Weebl's mine.

Anyways, I found that Meteora just sounds way too much like Hybrid Theory. It's almost like a Hybrid Theory Part II, in my opinion.
