It's actually more like a more traditional hardcore vocal, as opposed to what you'd tend to have in current bands that have screaming and singing. It makes a change. But when they play live it's annoying how he seems to just scream or shout every single backing vocal instead of actually trying to harmonise with Patrick or even just leaving it alone.
