    I don't know what this movie was about anyways. It seems rather dumb. The commercial was confusing.

    I can't believe that they won't let 17 year olds into a movie just because it has blood in it. I went to see it tonight but it was R, so I had to see School of Rock.

    I was reading Roger Ebert's reviews today in the newspaper and Kill Bill got 4 stars out of 5, the highest rating out of all the movies in theatres now. I really wanted to see it, too.

    Canada. I think R is 18+ but I'm not sure (my province's ratings are not the same and less restrictive).

    R = 18+ in Canada

    I'm 17, turning 18 in about a month. I explained that to him but they still wouldn't let me. I snuck into Underworld easily too.

    I saw "Kill Bill" last night. It's the best movie I've seen in a long time. I love how it was like a live-action anime. Amazing movie. 5/5 stars.

    I can't wait to see this movie. Hopefully it's as good as his other movies, which are amazing.

    It's name should not be "Kill Bill", but "Kill Uma".

    Personally I really did not like Kill Bill.

    Forgive me but is that much blood and gore necessary?

    What is the purpose behind having that much violence?

    From what I can see, the entire movie is supposed to be 'cool' because it is shocking (at how much violence there is). I've heard people tell me its that way to be funny...well its not funny. Having 50 people on the screen missing arms, legs, feet, and hands is not humor, its rather disgusting. The plot...well was weak, wow another revenge story, just with swords instead of guns. The fight scenes were made to be like the matrix, but with lots of gore, and came out rather awful (except for the girl with the spiked ball, that was at least cool). Then to top it all off, they take what could be a really cool idea, linking anime into an otherwise animeless movie, and ruin it by covering your screen once again with gore. So am I missing some deeper meaning here? Is there a whole other level of subtext that I'm just missing? I doubt it, and as far as I can tell this director who is so famous is only liked because he is shocking. So I guess if you like movies with little plot and dialog and find lots of blood and gore funny...well maybe you'll like the movie. I did not.

    What was the meaning, for example, of LOTR?
    A fun movie doesn't need deep meanings. Bullet- time does the work :p
