Speaking of this kind of stuff, MTV.com also has the video up for A Static Lullaby's cover of Toxic.

I'll probably still buy it once the actual CD comes out. Definite highlights for me so far are Escape the Fate's Smooth, A Day to Remember's Over My Head (Cable Car) and Breathe Carolina's See You Again, in that order.

Mayday Parade and Silversteins' covers are pretty solid too. I think I actually prefer August Burns Red's cover to Children of Bodom's.

One thing I've noticed is that the CD lacks punk bands.

Well if you follow absolute punk much, you'd totally know that all of these bands are sooo punk. (sarcasm)

Music in general lacks punk bands...and has for oh, about 20 years, at least.

After listening to the whole thing all the way through, my favorites would have to be Smooth, Toxic, Over My Head, Flagpole Sitta, and Apologize

I've listened to it a couple times and I like most of the songs. The only ones I don't like are "Flagpole Sitta" and "Smooth."

"Apologize" and "Over My Head (Cable Car)" are the best.

Bayside's cover of Beautiful Girls is good, but they didn't do anything to it. It just didn't really do anything for me. The August Burns Red cover is the only one I can't listen to, but I don't like most music like that.

Yeah, Bayside's cover is too much like the original.

The Dear Hunter covered it also and it is way better than this cover.

    My favorites in order are..
A Day To Remember - Over My Head (Cable Car)
Love Song - Four Year Strong
    Disturbia - The Cab
When I Grow Up - Mayday Parade
    Flagpole Sitta - Chiodos
    Smooth - Escape The Fate
