I hope the title didn't excite anybody just yet.... I was just curious if anyone has heard anything about LP and Projekt Revolution for this year. Since they are working on their new album, will they be spending this summer in studio or will they be out and running PR'09?

my mom got me, my bro and my girlfriend all tickets to PR'07 in Hartford and it was honestly the best time of my life. It was cool to have even have my mom there enjoying all the bands  This 44 year old chick rocking out to My Chemical Romance was hilariously epic

I don't think headlining a few festivals overseas means they're booked.

ya but these dates are dead center of the summer
when they would normally be on PR
so i dont think that they would be on PR,hop overseas, then comeback

No... but they could shorten it, by doing it before or after... or before AND after. You never know. I'll still hold on to the belief there will be one, until an official announcement says otherwise.

PR is a summer festival, so if it doesn't happen in the summer,
they just won't do it this year. Pretty simple.
I know they'll tour in the fall/winter in support of the new cd,
    and that's exciting.

I doubt there will be a full-scale Projekt Revolution tour, but they've expressed interest in the past of potentially turning it into one big festival event instead of a tour, a la Ozzfest/Lollapalooza. That would surely fit into their schedule much more easily. I doubt we'll see any full-scale Linkin Park touring at all in 2009 actually (or at least until the end of the year), because the Dead By Sunrise album is on schedule for a summer release, and it's already been confirmed that when it comes out, DBS and Julien-K will go on tour together.

And KROQ, Ticketmaster, and Sodahead have all implied already that there will be a Projekt Revolution this year. Sodahead even had a poll of what bands people wanted to see, which was promptly removed by LP management. A.K.A. Sodahead probably let the cat out of the bag too soon. So I think we'll see a PR festival show, or a few of them, but not a full tour.

They are currently working on their new album. Keep checking back here or on linkinpark.com for any future tour dates that will be released. For right now, nothing yet for the U.S. :)

I hope not. I'd rather they focus on a new album if they do anything this Summer.
