The song is awesome. Does anyone have a version above 256kbps?

Am I the only one who's reminded of The Saints Are Coming in the verses?

I am too. Technically, this is on the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack). It's also by Various Artists for album artist. When the album art for the soundtrack comes out, I'll use that instead of the single cover.

I wasn't implying they'd copied it or anything, was just saying it's in similar style.

That or we both are.

But I know I hear it. I love both songs either way though.

Yeah same. I've already overplayed New Divide so much so that after this week I'll probably have made myself hate it.

After disappearing on Linkin Park on almost 3 years now.. I have to say this is a refreshing new feel to come back and hear this. I really wasn't digging Minutes to Midnight, but if the next album sounds something like the stuff displayed here.. I am going to be in for a real treat.

That break down that happens (solo) is what a real Linkin Park solo should've sound like. That "reanimation" feel to it. I love it. I fing love it so much I haven't feel like this since 2002. WOOT WOOT cheers for this song!!!

Would this be classified as just alternative rock? (And/or Electronica?) I'm trying to insert Genre info for it on my iTunes.

When I opened the MP3 from the linkinpark.com website in Mediamonkey, it said the genre was "Blues".

I think you can put anything in there and it would still beat the pants off 'Warner's interpretation'

Someone on LPL best described it.

    (Paraphrased)
"Half of me wants to label it pop, half of me wants to label it epic."

    Epic Pop.

Anyone think Chester's work with Julien-K might have influenced the uber-breakdown?

Mike writes a lot more of the music than Chester... so I think it was mostly Mike experimenting. There's a chance you're right, but I'm betting it was Mike.

EDIT: Has anyone found an audio rip of Mike and Chester on KROQ today?

    Well, definitely not blues.

Haha, nice. I think it's too rockish to be called strictly pop though.

Alternative Rock/Electronica? It says just 'Alternative Rock' on Wikipedia, but I think there's enough Electronica elements in here that it might deserve mention.

let Mike be the only producer for the next record!

this song it's AWESOME, if this is how the new LP record is going to be then bring that shit on!.
