Discuss. And for those who have been away from LP for a while and are just discovering DBS, you can hear their music here: http://www.myspace.com/deadbysunrise
I'm just excited for Chester to do his own thing and maybe break away from Linkin Park in terms of sound.
Not sure if it will sadly. We all thought Fort Minor would mean a greater rap influence on Minutes To Midnight, and instead Mike was MIA for the most part lol.
Looking forward to another band i can listen to...provided the music is half good. So far it seems it is, so hopefully the album follows suit. Will the album have any influence on LP's album? For sure. We may not even notice it, but if Chester is spending time working with other artists, then unwittingly he will draw from his experiences with them.
I'd say that Fort Minor did have a little influence on Minutes To Midnight. Mike kept rapping in a more traditional style, like in Fort Minor, rather than the style on Hybrid Theory/Meteora. Hands Held High being the example here.
To be honest I'm not that excited. I haven't written it off yet and I will listen to it but I'm not really gagging to hear it.
I feel the same as Dean, I've never been into anything this album is sounding like at all and having Chester on vocals is hardly enough to make me listen to it more than once/twice.
