on the contrary, i think a full-length wizard song would be full of win.

Yeah, I'd rather just hear demos from the last two albums as much as anything.

    HOLY %£!#@!!!!!!

NINE tracks! EIGHT demos & a NEW song!

I mean, wow, I was getting my hopes up, but never thought we'd see the likes of this on the LPU ever again!

and that premier pass with a VINYL record sounds worth the money this time!

Let's be fair; it probably took them 9 years to actually have enough demos laying around to warrant such a release.

I wonder what the LPU10 CD will be, cause I think it won't be demos unless they're from the new album there won't be any demos left. Or maybe not.

I was thinking about that too. LPU10 will be around the 10th anniversary of Hybrid Theory and 10 years is a huge milestone for anything, so I think next year could even top this years.

when does the LPU switch to 9.0? I'm ready for this CD to leak and get in as a member again :D

taking all the hybrid theory (EP) demos in consideration alone you are very wrong.

I'm on my iPod so forgive me if my grammar is slightly off.

I'm thinking as they get older, are more involved in the music business, and have had time to think about everything, they're thinking hard about what they need to do in the future.

Honestly, high quality live recordings of their songs are really incredible and I think people take that for granted these days. People only want to hear new stuff it seems.
To record an entire tour in high quality and then to actually do it like they did is extraordinary.

More b-sides are long due, though, I just think they're trying to do it strategically.

I doubt they'll exclude live tracks entirely (although the last fan club CD did), and I think they'll lean towards "Hybrid Theory" demos regardless of how many demos actually end up on the CD. And I sincerely hope the "new song" is not an instrumental, although I still wouldn't mind, even if it was. :)

There are demos from all the albums, and I could be wrong, but I don't think you guys have heard any of them. "She Couldn't" is definitely not on it, and the new song is not an instrumental. Lots of great guesses. Lots of correct guesses. Lots of wrong guesses. Get excited.
