I think the album is much stronger than what I think a lot of us were starting to think from what was released early on. Had me a little worried for the first couple weeks but consider it bought.
I agree. I had my doubts at first but the album is actually great. Been listening to these tracks a lot now and can't really think of a track I don't like. The songs I thought were somewhat weak aren't so weak after all and there are a bunch of tracks that are just great, too. Can't stop listening. I'll get it for sure. The only thing I would criticize is that Let Down is not as calm as I hoped it would be. I'd prefer a Piano Version or something along those lines.

This is pretty much what I'm expecting, but I'm still gonna buy the album. I don't want to dissuaded any more than I am right now, I'm only buying the album for a couple of songs that I've liked. Which is why I'm not listening to the stream.
I wish iTunes would have created one of their new Digital 45s for Out of Ashes. I would have paid $20 for that. The stream was OK, sounds better on the CD of course.
