no that's not correct, they addressed the issue last night at the concert and said he just needed a break...he hasn't left.
He hasn't left perminantly yet but it certainly seems as if he might. There are so many rumours going around right now about why Howard left the tour including a failed suicide attempt. I really hope he pulls through and rejoins though...KSE are one of my favorite bands of all time. For the time being I'm gonna re-title this thread so no one gets the wrong idea.
As much as I liked howard on The end of heartache, I thought Daylight Dies was a downgrade, and their new album sucked. I hope he leaves. I deleted the album after hearing this song the second time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYQtfamt0SY&feature=related I was getting into the opening riff, and then 25 seconds in the song turns to garbage.
Too bad this thread isn't about their music, instead it's about one of the members' health. Yet, you can't realize that enough and find a way to complain about how much their music sucks. Opinions are opinions, but come on, really? Aye. I hope Howard gets better. I don't care what anyone says, he has one of the best voices in metal today. The guy has a lot of range, something a lot of vocalists can't say they have.
I'll admit that I didn't like their last album as much but the other two albums with Howard are amazing in my opinion.
Wow, ADD is one of my favorite metal albums. End of Heartache is golden, I admit I was disappointed in the new album but Howard is such a cool dude, Hope he gets things all figured out.
The video posted makes it sound like he got burned out and left the tour. Probably got into a series of arguments and Howard stepped away or they told him to take a break. I don't wish him harm, I just wouldn't care if he left. He has an awesome voice, I loved The end of heartache, and I liked a few songs on ADD, but his formula has become extremely stale to me, and I've seen them live, he's a stiff on stage. I would rather see one of the shows with Phil Labonte, because he kills it live.
I hope Howard is ok. I love his voice and couldn't think of anyone better then Phil to make his place for the time being
Both Jesse and Howard are great singers and screamers in their own way. I suggest if you liked My Last Serenade you give the rest of "Alive or Just Breathing" a shot. I think it's their most complete album from beginning to end.
To be honest i have heard live stuff from KsE since i have their Special Edition of End Of Heartache, and i really cannot bare to listen to them live. Phil Labonte is sooo much more of an improvement to the line up and maybe if we're lucky we get to hear more of "Philswitch" Engage lol
I'm a fan of KsE but not to be rude or something...when my friends talked about KsE it always end up on Howard Jones vocals and their 5th self-titled album isn't that good, imo. Anyway, I wish him well.
