Korn have written a song for their new studio album, 'Take A Look In The Mirror', entitled 'Ya'll Want A Single?' reports Metal Hammer's website. The track is a humorous, middle-finger salute to their record company, Sony, for asking the band to "write a radio hit" for their upcoming self-produced album. It opens with frontman Jonathan Davis rapping in a kooky Southern-drawl, "Ya'll want a single? Say f### That!" before the band blast out some super heavy, down-tuned grooves. "It's really funny when you think of it," guitarist Munky told the website. "asking a heavy band like Korn to write a 'radio single'. What were they thinking?!?" The tentative tracklisting is slated as follows: 01 - "Right Now" 02 - "Break Some Off" 03 - "Counting On Me" 04 - "Here It Comes Again" 05 - "Deep Inside" 06 - "Did My Time" 07 - "Everything I've Known" 08 - "Play Me" (Feat. Nas) 09 - "Alive" 10 - "Let's Do This Now" 11 - "I'm Done" 12 - "Ya'll Want A Single" 13 - "When Will This End" The album was originally to be relesed on the 24th November in the UK although it now looks like a 1st December release date is more likely. i think this cd gonna be sucks. look at the tracklis 10 - "Let's Do This Now" 11 - "I'm Done" 12 - "Ya'll Want A Single" 13 - "When Will This End" i can see how stupid they are ...i wouldn't want to hear the song after i see tracklist. korn is gone.
If you are going to bash a band, at least explain yourself. Anyways, IMO Korn has had better days. Their first albums were pretty good, and I've liked a few of their singles. I sometimes find their songs a lot of the same. I do like to hear a song or two an album from them, so I'll probably check out their singles. I loved 'Thoughtless' on their last album, hopefully they will have a song of the same calibre.
Nas, eh? Where in the hell did they come up with that?
I heard Jon was drunk and was screaming random words and "nas" was one of them, so they thought he was screaming "I want Nas on a track!" and picked him. Hopefully none of you take that seriously.
Hey "Lying from you", your basing your opinion of a song from the name of it? Are you some kind of idiot? When you first heard the name "dont stay" did you really think that was gunna be one of the coolest LP songs? Korn rock and that won't change. Linkin park are probably one of the best bands on the planet at the moment, but unless your deaf and blind you should realise that they are inspired by Korn. Tool. BTW. Thanx for that track listing, Phantom duck. What happened to the "one" cover?
I can see the Korn influence in LP, but sorry man, I can't see the Tool influence in LP!
He was calling that person a tool, and that's a flame. So, freak on a leash, you'll be getting warned for flaming.
Yeah, I noticed (see the 'wink'?) Anyways, (staying on topic) how is Jonathon Davis' voice these days? I heard on Much that he was having problems because he has strained it so much.
A warning? Ok "will" sure thing mate. And about Jonathan's voice, I know in Untouchables it sounded like he wasn't able to scream as well, I dont know what they did or what he did, but in right now when he screams "shutup! shutup! or i'll #### you up!" you can tell his voice is at its best.
I think the album will be good, like the rest of the KoRn albums. I will be buying it when it comes out.
im gonna like this album, i know it, but as much as i like korn, i they've sold out to fit into mainstream, listen to Right Now, then limpbizkit / KoRn - All In The Family, JD is very different
This album is gunna rock. I dont understand what do you mean JD has changed? I think Right now is as raw as they've been since "self titled".
ok...how about i don't give a #### if im banned from this website. ya freakonaleash, new korn sucks big ass time ...why don't you listen to MUSHROOMHEAD. real metal band...they will shove up to your ass..pooploser.
You have absolutely no respect. I can't believe people like you enjoy the negativity ride and take people down with you. Man, you know you've gone low when you're reduced to insulting other bands for the fun of it.
