    Thanks guys. I love it. I really don't understand how they picked the album songs for MTM. NRL/ATL/BB all should have been included.

    I got suspended for saying I hear there's a better version of the song out there. That's it. The site was initially me and Mark's idea but I didn't have the time to commit to it. Now its run by incompetent mods. That's why I'm here now lol.

    god I love this song so much right now, lol. I really hope that once the sales of 8-Bit rebellion start to decline, that they will put Blackbirds out on the iTunes store as a purchasable .mp3. I want a high quality version bad, lol

    Haha, yeah, that's supposed to be happening apparently. They probably would have made a bit more cash if they released the track on the same day through itunes as the game. Although, people would maybe not have bought the game as much then. However, people will probably just listen to a leaked version anyway so I guess it doesn't matter either way.

    I'm not exactly sure what quality we're going to get with a full rip. whether people are going to stream rip it and play around with levels and make it "perfect" or someone can find "THE" file in the game and upload it, it won't necessarily be 320 or V0, just whatever they put it in the game as (correct me if i'm wrong :eek: lol )


    I think people will listen to the leaked version but a lot of hardcore fans will want a high quality version to listen to. I know Linkin Park did it for fun and for the fans (and even LP want a little money), but you know WB had their hand in the pot somewhere and are going to make a good amount off of the game as well. So to WB, it would have been dumb to release a $1.29 .mp3 the same day as a what $5.99 game? Sucks, but I still hope the .mp3 is sold sooner than later. great song


    I give it a month before LP releases their new album and they may include it as a b-side on the new album's first single.

    Before anybody from LPLive comes here and thinks the LPA is anti-LPL, I want to make the following very clear: the above post does NOT represent the view of the LPA staff, or it's moderators/admins in any way, and is the opinion of the poster themselves. If anyone happens to agree with him, so be it...but the bolded statement needed to be said.

    Now while we do allow freedom of speech here (and the ability to express your opinions on things whether it be negative or positive), we're also tired of the drama that comes from people thinking there's a war going on between both sites. There isn't and there never was :). Any claims of competition were pure fabrication by people trying to bring us down, and while I'm aware some people over there do not like me/this site, that's the way things are. We really could care less if some people wish to trash the LPA on other sites (as I'm sure LPL feels the same way about their site) because we work hard on this site, have been doing so for 9+ years and try to be as welcoming as possible, however naturally you can't win over everybody.

    So again, we allow freedom of speech and wont delete your post because of that, but it doesn't mean that by keeping it in the thread that we actually agree with it.

    I like the song, I think the lyrics are really good and a step up from some of their latest work, but the song doesn't really impact me too much. I really like Mike's verse, but for me it feels a little empty and doesn't really build into anything. I guess for me it lacks something epic and isn't overly catchy. I like the beat, and I guess that's catchy in a way, but the way it is sang doesn't really evoke much emotion or power for me, and maybe that's purposefully done and that's fine, but overall I think they have much better songs and anticipate their next album.

    It's another good addition to their database of tracks, but nothing mind blowing in my opinion, and maybe I'm just not feeling this type of song musically at the moment but yeah, not a bad effort at all.

    Agreed 100%. Basically sums my thoughts up. Awesome track, but feels unfinished/rushed. I'd give it a 7.5/10.
