I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but I think the picture represents something like an hourglass with sand falling down. This might indicate that we just have to wait until the day of revelation.

 

I doubt it. I only think such large discussions occure when Linkin Park teases us like this - that said, I only believe that the users (including myself) goes apeshit (or elephantshit in our case) and the Sherlock Holmes inside us sneaks out from his tea party when they post something as abstract as this. But when we get something concrete (say, a song title perhaps?) I think the users mainly discusses the new title, without any mindless speculation.

I love it how we all have tried to put all of our theories forward even using software but we ended up in the same place - in the middle of fucking nowhere.
