    I really don't get the "dance" feel. Do you guys mean electronic? Because nothing about this song is dance.

    Am I reading this right? The bonus track will only appear on Best Buy version of the album? That would be great. I'd hate to have it on my copy.

    My remix of The Catalyst. I felt like doing an intro like 1stp Klosr so yeah I did that but I don't have the software to do special effects and all that so all I did was rearrange the stems... lol I think it sounds good! Good luck to everyone else =)

    CONTEST JUDGING: Submissions will be judged by a panel of judges selected by Contest Entities (“Judging Panel”). Submissions will be scored based on the following three (3) criteria:

    1. Commercial Appeal of Mix: 50%
    2. Originality: 25%
    3. Creative Use of Branded and Personal Assets: 25%

    If you're going to attempt to win make sure you go for "commercial appeal" :p

    Very nice. Enjoying the dance-punk feeling to it. Add more drums and highlight the guitars a bit, because this way it sounds a bit midi-ish. Nevertheless, I like how it starts.

    where does it say that? i didn't see that in the contest rules. and usually with 18 years or older if you have a parent accompany you through all this it should be fine. what i'm basically saying is make a remix and then have you're parents submit.

    Guys, you're dissing Mike's vocals when you don't even know HOW THEY'LL SOUND in the song. For all you know they could be backup vocals under Chester or...when everything is layered...could add atmosphere to the song. I strongly suggest everyone listens to The Catalyst when it comes out, before assuming Mike's part is going to suck big huevos.

    Gotta admit I was quite "very" surprised when I first downloaded the various pieces of the song and listened to them separately. But then when I heard the layered version on youtube it was literally 1000x better and I immediately loved it, and this was not even the real version of the song but a fan remixed. So I'm sure when the actual song is out, it'll be amazing. Though Derek ^^ I don't think Mike's vocals are back up vocals.

    I sure as hell hope Mikes vocals aren't back up vocals. I love them! [/teenie] But seriously. I really like it. Chester's vocals are the ones that are bland.

    It just makes me laugh to see people "hoping" Mike's vocals aren't on the album. I REALLY don't get how people can think they're bad. Oh no, some kind of effect on Mike's vocals?!? They must automatically suck even though we're hearing a couple of lines from one a song we haven't even heard yet. seriously.
