yeah at this point, its the album cover that is being revealed...i love how other artists would just come out and say it...Mike had us rackin our brains to find out the single name and release date and the album name and release date lol..and now the cover...and the sound possibly being in The Catalyst

 

^Again, just because Mike has been communicating with the fans about all this stuff more than the other bandmates doesn't mean this is all his idea.

I just went to Photoshop to see the size of the entire image. It appears to be 410px by 410px with each square 4px by 4px, thus 102.5 squares by 102.5 squares. But I guess it should be 100 by 100 thus making a total of 10,000 squares.

We won't know what it is until we get closer to a confident assumption. As of right know, we think it could be the album cover and while it probably is, it's just a bunch of coded boxes. We could be in store for another picture message or something from the music video that comes out soon - who knows? We could be unlocking "The Catalyst" music video. This is a fantastic way to build hype because the fans and market is partly responsible for the suspense leading to the answer.

 

I think if the central picture of this cover ends up being a sun, it would be so cliche and anticlimactic. I'm hoping for something else, possibly a constellation of stars or something really unexpected.

 

Linkin Park has never done anything like this with the past 3 albums and the singles...this is amazing...idk why they are doing all this to unlock everything but i like it lol

It would be cool if they used a shrunken version of the 3d representational graphic of the universe and next to it they write, in binary code, "You Are Here!"

Someone on LPL used 1337 hack skillz and found two hidden mp3s.

One is the sound we hear when we send a tweet, and the other is very ambient and has The Catalyst piano part in it, but a bit distorted.

 

It probably won't be done until the other half of the world wakes up.
