    You can sometimes buy the limited edition in most stores. I think a lot stock it, just not as much as the original version. They may sell out but I guess it's dependant on your retailer.

    The thing about special edition albums is once they're gone, they're gone. Usually Best Buy will have them for the first week or two of sales.

    When I picked up my copy of M2M at BestBuy they had plenty of copies of the special edition. As long as you go the first few days of the release you should be able to pick one up.

    I agree. I've never had problems finding special editions, vinyl on the other hand is a whole different beast. Hot Topic has gotten better about carrying Linkin Park vinyl, but I've grown fond of ordering my LP vinyl from Amazon.

    I wonder if they're going to have an iTunes pre-order. I assume they will, I guess I want to know if it will include an exclusive song or something similar.

    Some people were saying that when they pre ordered M2M off of lp.com, they got it 1-2 days early. Not sure if there will be anything special about it compared to sites like Amazon as in what you get.

    Pre-order details are up!

    EDIT: I swear I seen the page, they must have removed it.

    The options had a set where you can buy all four items for 229.99, a t-shirt with the album cover on it, the CD/DVD version standalone, and even a customized skateboard deck. I was just at this page, but not it's not there anymore. I don't know how I got to it, I just clicked the link to the website on the original post and it took me to the preorder page.

    here on the german amazon you can order the limited edition .. seems like the special edition on the amazon.com, anyways.. its pre ordered :D as well as the catalyst ^^

    Updated the first post to include a version of A Thousand Suns labelled as [+1 Bonus][Import], which seems to be available in the UK as an import & in Japan & Germany as a standard release. Wonder if this is a tentative version that may include the remix, although I thought that was only available at Best Buy so I'm not sure.
