    Thanks Catalyst, very very much.
That guitar DOES sound great..i think it will build up even more after that in fact. This song is gonna be awesome. :)

Did the thing with the XGames say that the song was going to be played in full or just snippets?

I guess I will love it. It sounds good...at least much better after I heard the a capella stem.

Whilst everyone is talking about the music and guitars, I'm going to say the lyrics are absolutely brilliant. It seems to me that they're talking about the possible nuclear warfare in the future.

So it's not exactly 6 seconds longer is it. At least in the YouTube version it cuts off at 37-38ish....:)

I don't understand why people think its a good thing that the Linkin Park sound be different. There is a reason that Hybrid Theory and Meteora went multi-platnium while Minutes to Midnight did not experience near the success that the first 2 albums did. LP tried to be different with M2M and I think it did not meet their expectations. I want the old LP sound back...why does this band feel they must re-define themselves in terms of the way their music sounds with each new record? The success of the first 2 albums should be proof that their sound is just fine and what their fans want to hear.

In any case, I wish that they release snippets of the other tracks as well. At the rate at which we're listening to this one, 'The Catalyst' will be too old even before it actually releases! :)

You can write the same stuff for years. Although they are a commercial band, they write music for deeper level of music, instead of making much money. They can easily publish albums like HT, but general public will get bored, we will get bored, LP will get bored.
