Ah. Man, improvisation! Jamming? First time recordings not pre-written? Automatic writing? Lyrics being made up on the spot, instrumentation improv? HELL YES. Truly confirms that they have taking big risks with this album.

This is a good insight into the lyrical process and more on Rubin's input. Judging by the big improvement of lyrics on Catalyst, it's certainly working...

 

Will pre orderers get this full experience thing? Or is that all we're getting and we're not getting Mp3's of individual songs? I want this bad!

 

If you have all the individual MP3s it's very easy to merge them you know?

 

Ah man, it'll be so epic. I know what he means about rehearsing untill everything is too perfect/mechanical/cold. There something about first takes that are sometimes the best. I'm a musician & theres sometthing about the first few recordings that have such power. Sure sometimes they'll be mistakes, but they help make the sound what it is.

And that full album mp3? EPIC!

 

You don't know what they might do. It would be hard to match it completely with whatever LP releases. And no, that would not be very easy, it would be time consuming. At least for me because I'm unfamiliar with software that can do that.

 

Audacity (which is a free program) is an easy way to do that.

 

I love the fact that the new material wasn't rehearsed until it's stale. Major points for that! and the writing process? It sounds amazing. I'm glad that they didn't sit down and force music and lyrics out.

 

I love all of this... but i really like when Lyrics are well writing with big throughs behind it... But well i just hope it all ends good. Like the Catalyst.
