Know a band that's just amazing live? Well tell us here. Give a video if you can find one that does that band justice. I'm gonna go

I don't care if Tom's iffy sometimes live... going to the AVA concert in May was probably the best show I'd ever been to... maybe even better than LP... Then energy is just incredible

I only went to one concert, which was for Skillet. And they are fucking awesome live.

Here is their acoustic cover of Enter Sandman with Michael Barnes, the lead singer of Red (with an acoustic solo by Ben Kasica)

I wish I could find a decent vid...
I've seen a lot of bands, and bands that are renowned for their live shows:
Nine Inch Nails, Muse, Linkin Park, Iron Maiden, Alice In Chains... Plenty more, those are just some notables.

Nothing compares though, and nothing impacts a crowd in the same way Midnight Oil did. Video doesnt do it justice at all.

This is a german Band. The most songs of them are in english
They're very popular in germany...their live show is incredible. I saw them in June this year and I will see them again in March next year.
Here's a vid of their last song at RaR 2007. Pay special attention to the part starting at 3:00...that's insane!

I'm going to go far left field and say that my favorite performance (and concert experience in general) was by a folk-piano-pop artist.

yessss!! I'd definitely say the beatsteaks are one of the best live bands ever. I've never been to one of their shows, but just watch this video... it's CRAZY what insanity is going on in the crowd at their concerts... it sends me shivers down the spine just to watch this in crappy youtube quality.

i got another great german live band. often compared to the beatsteaks tho... but even as good as them imo :) the Donots. seen them this year at a small festival and gonna see them again in october. wooooot. i can't frikkin wait!!!! this is how i want shows to be. that you're standing there afterwards sweating like an animal, trying to breathe normally again and you're just asking yourself what the hell happened during the last few moments^^

I like both those bands, but they absolutely should not do that song acoustically. That sounded bad, except the vocals.
