While i Share blackchesters Love for ATS i think the Description of Empty spaces is wrong. The Track is 18 seconds Long, i think it was the Part where you can Hear crickets and war (bombs). At this Part i really had to think about the title because i really imagined that Scene while Hearing it. It is Dark ( somehow i always think of a lonely dark night in Connection with crickets) bombs exploding, damaged scenery. I could Be wrong but i think this was empty spaces.
Another Thing i just realized is about the requiem. It is a Moody and mysterious atmosphere, Keyboard Kicks in and a edited female Voice starts singing (... save us everyone, we are broken people living under a loaded gun...). I knew i heard something similiar somewhere and now i Know where -> the Voice that guides you through Portal, perhaps someone in the lpa played it too [not really the same but kind of: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDxcCxd-GmU]

Just wanna add that i really like Blackout and just feel the desire to listen to the complete record again (normally my second run on a new album just consists of skipping to my favourites before i will listen to a full album again).
