I don't share the same kind of enthusiasm as most of you. I expected so much more. Let's just say it was a bit too smoky for me. There wasn't any epic moments. It would've been ideal to have a nuclear explosion and the debris of that explosion being the colored powder.
Mike truly looks like the "rapist in Linkin Park" with the pubic face hair and sith-lord hoodie Personally, I'm not a fan of the video. It's interesting to see, considering that Linkin Park is my favorite band, but for such a highly energetic song...the video seemed too dark for me.
what the f**** i can't see the video stupid MTV WHAT DO U MEAN BY''SORRY WE ARE ....BOLSH**'' IWANT TO SEE THE VIDEO
It's a good video, but the radio edit is very underwhelming because it lacks in some of the build up.
Really sucks to be from canada right now, like canada borders the states but we are like the lonelyy eskimos in the snow who dont get anything that the states and other countries get lol
The band needs to let go of Joe's directing duties. I still think 'Faint' is one of their best mv's and that was due to Mark Romanek, not Joe Hahn. LP need more epicness in their videos. Hire Rich Lee or Joseph Kahn!
I don't think the video matched the energy of the song but it did match the lyrics in a way. When I think of "broken people living under loaded gun" I don't expect the video to have bright imagery. With that being said, my mind was blown by this video. It's definitely up there with "From the Inside" and "In the End" for me. I hope they release an extended version with the cd/dvd.
Also there's something MTV also posted about Linkin Park and the video. but idk if its old news or not http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1646519/20100825/story.jhtml
The only part where the radio edit bugs me is at the end. This is the most mature video LP has made yet. It gives you a lot to think about. When you look carefully, there is a story being told and each band member symbolizes the different characters. Chester is the dude who's dying (lol), Mike I guess can be the person who set off the nukes. I'm pretty sure Brad dies too, haha. It will take a while to fully interpret this. When can you ever say that about a music video? Joe Hahn is a fucking genius.
