No way, you can clearly hear the difference with good speakers. Listen to The Catalyst of the leaked version. There are some pretty strange noises you won't find on the EP. The album itself is great. No Doubt !

I never ever ever thought the day would come when the words "This is better than HT" would come out of my mouth, but folks here ya go. ATS.
WOW.. leaked news.. :/ shocked all ppl in the world.. how did this happened? *O* THE CATALYST was great becoz there's no leak news... but now their secure has been failed for ATS album.. i pity u LP XD. but don't worry.. im gonna buy it when it releases as soon as possible at stores in my city! lol
He's basically responding to LP "fans"/whiners that want the old sound back... basically saying that they "want the next thing to be just like the first", and to "keep up (mothereffers)" with the new sound, maybe because they're doing what the band wants. At least that's my interpretation of the first verse, correct me if I'm wrong. IMO this is the best LP album by far.
Well i already listened and i have a message for the ones who have decided not to listen: DONT DO IT ATS is pure greatness is amazing from start to finish i hope dont spoil nothing here but personally if the LP career were ended at the end of iridesent it will be great for me wow, i think this tops HT just because ATS is better. it has some flaws but nothing really bad, the only bad thing that i can say is that it left you wanting more and more. 10/10 And BTW listen to it in order just like people have been telling. Top moments: All the album Honorific mention: The requiem, blackout, iridescent, the messenger.
Key words: average ear. I've been through this test a million times. Only with excellent equipment at high volumes, will you hear any difference.

my first impressions(there will surely change): Burning in the skies 8/10 - lp like(m2m edition) When they come for me 10/10 - love the ending!!! Robot boy 7/10 - so and so Waiting for the end 10/10 - great song Blackout 10/10 - total mess it is awesome now, but it so messy I am not sure will I like it later Wretches and kings 8/10 - love the beat, not the heyheyheys or choruses that much Iridescent 9/10 - mike and chester singing nicely together... very U2 like The Catalyst 10/10- ... The Messenger 10/10 - Chester makes you "cry" here... extraordinary performance It's definitely a journey! An awesomely enjoyable one What I can say is that my emotional response after hearing it for the first time is a lot better then when I had just heard M2M. However, first impression after HT was more intense(but then I was just a 12yrs old kid)
Did you guys see the picture of the album and the CD that came with the leaked songs file? Everyone that is downloading the leak PLEASE GO AND BUY the album! It's not that expensive and it will be much better quality! (I have pre-ordered it twice, mp3 only and CD/DVD from Amazon)
Whatever Mike is saying in Jornada Del Muerto, I think he's saying "Lift me up/Let me go". It's the same tone, almost, and I really wouldn't be surprised.
