Blackout question

What happened to the lines that they used in the lptv episode?

A little bit acid rain a little bit celebration...etc

 

Probably just demo lyrics that got scrapped in favor of the album's lyrics.

 

Okay. I liked those though, I was just waiting for them to come and I was like wait, where are they?

If they would have chosen those lyrics over the current one, it wold not have fit in with the story

Well, those lyrics on the video were probably just an automatic writing session, where Chester just sang what ever came to the front of his mind. I don't think they actually ever even mixed it with the instrumental, demo or otherwise. Sure, there's music playing in the LPTV video put it's probably being played separately from Chester's scatting. The Three Part Linkin Park interview would give this idea some weight as the band stated that they didn't really make any traditional demos and they just continued working on a song until it was done, so I say there aren't any "Demo" Demos but instead only B-Sides.

 

It's not that i wasn't happy, I was just a bit confused because I was expecting it. Relax.

 

That was exactly what I was wondering, I got the lyrics of the LPTV episode of Blackout in my head, and when the song came I was like.....where is it?
Lol but Blackout is still awesome as it is
