Couldn't find a thread on this... saw it last week, loved it. So many video game references and little sneaky things. The short Seinfeld bit was great. Thoughts? The Seven Evil Exes were awesome and well played. Brandon Routh was probably the best one though. Might go see it again this week!
Fucking loved it as well. Though, was disappointed that the movie inevitably left out some of my favourite parts (mostly useless parts hah).
Some parts from the books that I would have wanted to see were left out, but Edgar Wright did as good a job as he could turning six books into one film. In some ways the film is better and in some ways the books are. The game is also good.
No, he plays an awkward, sarcastic twenty-something. Seriously though, it's not exactly a complete change for him but likewise I don't think he is playing a 100% stereotypical Michael Cera character either. I didn't like him a great deal but I've warmed to him a bit more after seeing his last couple of films, but if you really absolutely dislike him this film probably won't change your opinion on him much.
I wasn't really a fan of Cera but I saw it anyway. He was pretty good in it until I read the books. He got Scott's personality down perfectly. The whole cast was just brilliant.
The more films Michael Cera appears in, the more I hate him. I let this slide this time cause it was such an awesome film.

I haven't seen the movie, and I missed it when it was out in the cinemas. BUT I'LL BE SURE CHECK THIS OUT ONCE IT ARRIVES ON DVD.
