Linkin Park is going to leave Warner Bros. as soon as possible.

They say the word "fuck" multiple times in this documentary, yet they won't let the word "Warner" or the names of any label execs be played. They don't want to be anywhere near Warner anymore.

This documentary honestly scared the shit out of me. The band seemed like they were questioning what they were even doing together, and that whole time we were just like LOL YAY SECRET PUZZLEZ or When's Mike gonna be on uStream?!

We had no idea. Holy fuck. LP needs to get off Warner asap.

I love it when they're talking about possibly having "Wretches and Kings" as the next single and Mike says, "just so you know what I was doing" [he plays some sounds from it] and he says, "I wasn't on some 'What I've Done' shit." HAHAHA

This documentary is what I needed (and rest of the fans) to see on just how much dedication and difficulty it was for them to do what they wanted to do towards this album.
The real glimpse on just how much pressure there is for this band when it comes to making an album with all the label n management breathing down their necks to make the next "LP" album when they just want to make music.

Have you guys noticed when Chester talks about two different projects that have to finish and some of it was censored.

It was probably referring to the Medal of Honor trailer.

Ha, I'm not so sure, why censoring it then - it's out.

I was more scared of what the content provided than actually enjoying it. Seriously scary on the whole process and deadline shit, I really want them to pull a Trent Renznor and be done with Warner Bros. Kinda saddens me how Brad wanted to just go with the same old route with the 1st single and actually work on a song just for that.

Because later in the documentary Chester basically says, "Fuck them, we'll make our own deadlines and do what we want to do." Along with Warner.

Oh I thought the same thing, it felt like everybody was willing to take risks and he was the only one who wasn't.

Maybe... anyway we'll know for sure in some weeks at the latest.

I just watched it. Man, that was scary, so much tension in there! I really hope they leave Warner as soon as possible, and keep on being as close as the documentary showed them to be. They make me more proud as a fan each day: we usually forget how hard it is to get on the studio and please everyone, the only thing we know is that whining and complaining about everything is really easy.

You can't just leave a record label, unfortunately.

And I loved Phoenix in this. He brought up how boring their structure was, something I've been griping about ever since Meteora. He seemed really adamant on making songs that are challenging to the band and couldn't give 2 shits about radio friendly songs.

I know, I know. But I just hope they can do it sometime soon.

Still, even if it felt really scary, it was really nice to see another side of the band.

How do you get out of a record label then?

    By eating Curry.

Not really, you have to do what your contract specifies. If you're signed up for 5 albums, that's what ya gotta do, make 5 albums.
