We've been hearing snippets from Hip-Hop Producer Scoop Deville for a while now, mainly about working with Mike Shinoda. However today on Vibe.com, Scoop gave some minor details about just how he will be working with LP. "I also have a big Linkin Park record that I’m about to remix," says Scoop on his way to a meeting in Los Angeles. "It’s going to be on their next album. LP really supported me since day one." Will this be another Catalyst remix or something more? An entirely new track? I doubt LP have even begun thinking about their next record at this point, so don't read too much into that comment. I don't doubt it at all actually. Since Mike said in the MOATS documentary that they are writing music all the time, and once a collection of songs feels like an album, then they will release it, instead of starting from scratch. Which could mean a new Linkin Park record possibly at the end of next year. I'm not holding my breath about it though On another note, I think it would be awesome to hear Scoop DeVille remix a Linkin Park track. He does amazing beats for GBC and other groups/artists. So it will be interesting to see what his remix is, and how it will sound.
Wow. Reanimation 2.0? I mean, if he can do what Reanimation did to HT for ATS then I will forever love the dude. ATS blows Reanimation out of the water and that's really impressive because it was formerly my favorite album by Linkin Park.. But then again, another remix album seems kind of redundant with Collsion Course and Reanimation and all those The Catalyst remixes. Eh. Let's see what we get.
Technically ATS isn't out in the US yet, so by "next album" he could easily be referring to ATS... and it also makes the most sense. Looking forward to it.

2 NEW LP ALBUMZ!!! OH MAH GAWDZ!!!! I doubt there'll be a new one. But Scoop's awesome. This should be sweet.
Bit off topic, but on the subject of remixes, since reanimation took HT and took it to a more hip hop place, how about a remix of a thousand suns that takes it to a far more heavy and rock kinda place. I think i would actually love that to happen, i know it won't, but that would be awesome.
I really hope that a new album will come soon, not that I'm already tired of ATS xD but the more LP the happier I am
