I'd certainly say he gets a say. Everyone is allowed to have an opinion, no matter how asinine or stupid you think they are (not saying I do or anything, just getting a point across).

Then again you could just be joking around, in which case, I AGREE ZOMG.

ATS is better than anything they realized. Before this Reanimation was my favorite album by Linkin Park, and I'm really fucking surprised that A Thousand Suns flew it right out of the goddamn water.

This is just my opinion of course.

I honestly think ATS BLEW Reanimation out of the water, but if you think they flew it, well by golly that's your opinion and I respect it.

In all seriousness, I think the reason you think that way Mr. Carlton is because the ATS supporters haven't been nearly as vocal as of late.

Your entitled to your opinion but I disgree. This is Linkin Park's best album. Most fun album? no. But musically and lyrically it is their best. I don't care if it's only been a week. I never love an album this quickly. It took me two listens to really attach myself to some songs.

This. I don't see how it's hard for people like El Muerto to believe that for some of us, we can decide on things like this quickly.

Personally I really like it. Especially burning in the sky. Think its ace!
To be honest, I think if LP had just put out Hybrid Theory part 3, they'd have got slated by people saying they're unoriginal and a one trick pony.

Thank you. I find it funny how so many are crying about going back to Hybrid Theory and Meteora. I remember when Meteora was hated all over the Linkinpark.com forums for being too simple, lyrically weak and, wait for it, Hybrid Theory Pt. 2.

i SO knew those lyrics could be used for this situation, wonder if they were written about it.
The album is def not the best. but i think its as good as meteora maybe. Though hybrid and minutes are better than this album i'm afraid.
plus this one feels like it does not have enough uniqueness to listen to. And when they said genre busting i didnt think they meant, play some more U2 but on some songs add an electric sound...
either way, whatever happened they created some brilliant lyrics and catchy tunes...

so im proud to be an owner of the cd

No uniqueness? it's got TONS of uniqueness! Of course we have different opinions and that's cool but there's so much variety and so many different layers on this album. Too early to say if this is their best album for me, just for the fact HT was such a huge force in my life at the time, but I am stunned and amazed by ATS. I think it's an amazing album.

I don't see the logic in people not liking this album and enjoying MTM. MTM imo is the farthest thing from "Linkin Park" Linkin Park has done to date.

This new record should rather be embraced by HT/Meteora supporters, at least more than MTM, because imo it actually has that oldschool feel to some degree. There is more rapping, more electronic sound, more scratching, more sampling... all the things that people bitched about MTM not having. So I just can't wrap my head around it, when people say this record is worst than MTM.

For the thousandth time MIKE RETRACED THAT STATEMENT.

Yeah, I wish people would stop bringing up the "genre-busting" topic.

But it is genre-busting. It so obviously is.

mehh 50/50 ,,, I see the Old lp in ATS , not that "mtm" < stuff

Although MTM was a more organic sound, It wasn't LP, i'm 100% satisfied with the direction they're going with ATS .

    So don't apologize
