    To celebrate the release of A Thousand Suns, Radio 1 in the UK had a 1 hour Story of Linkin Park, chronicling the bands rise from before they formed to the release of a A Thousand Suns. It's a great listen and has some interesting interview points from Rob, Mike, Chester & Phoenix. Listen to it below.

    I liked this. It's a great summary of the band's career. Let's hope that Chester REALLY means it when he talks about wanting to go right back in the studio (after the U.S. tour of course).

    After the US tour of course. I love that Snoop is already announcing that. LP 2011. REANIMATION 2. COLLISION COURSE: LIZZLE AND THE DIVVLE.

    Puking in the bus. DRUNK. I didnt know about that. I thought it was just drugs. I wish What Ive Done wasnt their theme song.

    Wheres brad in the beginning?

    Id love mike as a 12 year old.

    I dropped out of high school.
    Thats not a very good idea, kids.

    Map Scanner. Leather Pants. Bars. Nights. Fun fun fun.

    I thot that linkin park was because everywhere they went there was a lincoln part.

    I'm still in the middle of listening but this is cool! Really nice to go in depth into their background even though I know most of it! A new album in the next couple of years will be cool. Not rushed, but not taking ages. Thanks! :D

    Yeah, it's not a bad listen if you have a spare hour. The only downside was the intervals where they pulled typical British bockers off the street who don't have a fucking clue what they're on about. Like, why does their opinion sum up the entire LP fan base when one guy couldn't even name One Step Closer?... Okay. :lol: ...but yeah, good listen. It was nice near the end when we heard Mike & Rob's favourite songs off ATS right now.

    Funny you should say that! I don't work that far from the Radio 1 studios...I was actually thinking maybe they shoulda asked me haha! :cool:

    Very interesting listen, learned some stuff I didn't know and I'ev been a fan since 2001.

    That was a good listen. I think my favorite part of it was when Mike dispelled the rumor of the re-naming of the band to be closer to Limp Bizkit's albums on store shelves. I've heard that rumor before but never really knew if it was true or not. It would make sense, so that's why part of me believed it on the marketing side. But definitely cool to hear the real story behind that from the guys themself, rather than the wikipedia page.

    Actually, I change my mind. My favorite part was Chester announcing another 12 or so LP albums at the end of the piece :D

    Very good interview! I was unaware it only took them roughly 3 months to record Meteora.

    I think this is either one of the best if not the best interview of Linkin Park I've ever heard. From beginning to end. I only wish that the entire band could of been in it.

    What an awesome feel good story.

    Didn't really know much about their lives outside of their music.

    What an amazing journey they have been through and I'm blessed to have had the opportunity to go along with them through their music.

    Best ever Linkin Park interview. Just my opinion. Comprehensive and cool. :)
